Building Range

December 1st, 2025

I reported in a previous blog that I had no interest in learning to read as a child and just memorized the school books (read to me by others) and recited them as if I was reading.  But math I liked and somehow it felt like a truth, or at least more secure and consistent than reading.  Of course, I picked up reading skills along with math concepts and this over time may have influenced me to enter college in engineering.  When I learned that most the advanced math was not relative to our “dimension” I again switched.  The term did not depict some alien world location but in fact a different logical structure.  Wild to imagine that different logical structures operate with similar but to some degree different mathematical assignments.  All crazy ideas and along with my switch to psychology I started reading all the books on metaphysical concepts, old world religious concepts, many foreign religious concepts, and endless books on philosophy.  By age 40 I had more questions than answers and started taking some training classes to learn how to work with all those parameters I studied.  My goal was not to learn anything new but to get a grip and organize what I had already learned and could perform.

I now know it was silly to seek out some type of absolute truth.  Creating a story to support whatever we dream up as fact was faster and easier than research.  This was the nature of most of the training available but the similarities started to build a congruent picture of potential and why it cannot be limited to a single idea.  Our logical structured range that we humans have form in is influenced by other ranges (different dimensions even) and by imagination (phenomena).  By design we humans process life by making up stories, some based on logical data and others assumed.  We don’t require an absolute truth but just concepts so that we can coexist with other humans and everything else on this spinning ball.  A nice added trick is that the elements on the planet evolve (change regularly) which produces a demand for all of us to update our stories; never to find an absolute element but to adjust for the perpetual change we experience.

We have a game and with it nothing can last forever; time marks the rate of change but feels constant because we all live on the surface of our planet.  Do you get that if all humans moved to various planets to live but agreed to meet up on Earth once in a marked cycle of Earth time for a reunion, we would observe that everyone aged differently?  Are you up for a Sci-fi tale?  What if those aliens that many folks envision saving us Earthlings instead destroy Earth but because our “time” is so slow we who are living now will not have that experience for another 2,000 years Earth time?  We know all humans die but knowing the exact moment might not be an absolute truth worth seeking.

Post age 50 I started teaching, not to share some wisdom but to see if what I had acquired supported and assisted others in navigating our changing world.  My passion was to assist others in building range and their attention to flow with our earthly process of growth and change.  From birth we grow up and later start to grow out.  Healthier to expand by interaction with others and not increasing body mass for self.  Range adds integration and details to your stories and sharing enriches them.  Life is an adventure shared in stories or communal experience.
