Have you noticed that all my blogs of late have been variations in proposals to translate phenomena into logical processes—the selected medium for communication between us humans at this time? “Once upon a time” religion was the support of phenomena, and science (logical discourse) challenged it. Thousands of years later, and after many wars, science started to take the lead. Sad it did not end the battles but only added to the conflict. We humans have by majority evolved out of the “age of absolute” (1950) but still have some social demands for “one absolute truth.” Over the centuries we mortals have tried breeding, training and even brain programing a single absolute concept without any substantiable success (Rev. Moon for example). A lot of people in the post 50’s thought that when the cartoon character, Dick Tracy, started hosting a wrist phone and bopped around in an anti-gravity patrol vehicle, the cartoonist had pushed the limits. But future inventions are imagined first and then developed and improved over time. If we lack the range to entertain the unknown nothing new would come into play. Of course, allowing for diversity is the protocol of which I title “seek questions and not answers.”
A question by definition is a sentence, phrase, or word that asks for information or tests someone’s knowledge. As I have expressed numerous times, our unconscious system responds to sensory stimulus before our brain may sense the interaction. Even input framed as a question, if it is perceived as a threat the body will react automatically. Otherwise, the question format will promote a larger scan for more stored data or insert new facts stored into short term memory for updating. More details in every range; sub-ranges all sorted by associated data is the goal. This is the faster way that I have yet found to improve our individual internalized data base. Complexity increases by design as we evolve—specialization becomes the new norm.
This technique addresses the “attention economy” that all of us online and in the workplace are facing today. Without questions, short attention persuades a person to make bad decisions—not enough information. This level of attention evolves from narrow ranges. A person perceives a report and immediately assumes content from first impression—no range to confirm or develop more elements. In fact, if you ask a person a question while in a brain scan you would notice that they search the brain area designed as stored files. Do you get why we are 93% redundant in our processing and planning for a future? Your future is unknown but if you imagine a potential, you will discover it as phenomena. Your future is not in today’s awareness or terms in today’s language to define it. The common error by most is to create a story and fabricate elements to integrate the discovered clue into today’s knowledge base. Now you sound crazy to most and are forced to narrow your range of awareness and embrace other “crazy folks”; not mentally ill in any way but mobilized together just to defend an undefinable vision. I get that you “feel it” and that is why initiate training programs focus on managing feeling awareness (grounding and energy movement). Back to basics; look for clues and pay attention and widen your range. If you can build a map, you can generate an influence. It’s your future! As Krishnamurti once reported his secret, “I don’t mind what happens.”
