Have you ever adjusted, or had someone adjust the blink rate on your computer monitor? If every experience and perception you entertain were “real in objective form” it would heat up and self-destruct. Yes, life elements have a blink rate just like your light bulbs—a pause. If you wonder why there is a “cosmic speed limit” (speed of light) it is because at that speed nothing would be in motion. Since there is no mass, by the latest science research (CERN Research Center), energy has just a relationship to movement. Or think of energy as raw potential without form or movement. We humans don’t think that way; we like to label and map everything and define it as a location because we are burdened with form; the perception of mass. We attempt to dance around this by labeling the energy potential as “god”, “soul”, “past lives”, or perhaps “alien worlds.” I did attempt to teach my energy concepts but the students assumed I was just crazy talking. I was jokingly referred to as Dr. LED.
Instead, I settled on simply stating that all potential is real but only ones with a logical definition are a “truth” in our world of form and I believe that to be correct. I’m old, long retired but still inspired to have a conversation about potential; are we just an aspect of it or is there a bigger game? I agree with the last thoughts from Stephen Hawking that were reported by Thomas Hertog in his wonderful book, On the Origin of Time. Our little 5% chunk that we humans can process of the massive universe appears to be pro-life. Not in preserving life but supporting the development and evolution of life in general. We may have a game and for sure have a playing field. Freud’s ideas on child play and others like Erik H. Erikson expand the idea that in play children sort out imagined thoughts (streams of potential) and test the ideas that the society of human life would accept. Not much different than a researcher, and only a small percentage of novel ideas ever graduate to logical truths.
I’m dedicating this year’s blogs and YouTube Chats to lots of those crazy ideas that may someday become a truth but for now are the fancies of an old child. Not my goal to prove anything or answer any questions about anything. I’m seeking better questions to ask and hold sacred the vision that the stream of potential will expand with the stream of questions. Our present system of integrating concepts into truth is by adding lots of redundances. I’m sure you have noticed that on your smartphone, computer and TV, if you still own one. Advertisers and “news of the day” supply tons of repetitive snippets. We now know that any crazy idea can be pounded into the range of “truths”, at least for a time. We need to find a method of informing that connects all humanity and not alienating into factions. War and sickness are old games, very profitable for some but very destructive for most.
