A Probable Assist

April 1st, 2025

We need a technique to overcome the tendency to believe, react, or ignore influences as our only option.  You all know someone who believes everything, someone else who reacts to “god knows” what gets streamed to them, and the proverbial unconscious person that needs to takes drugs or booze perhaps to manage.  What a fun game!  How can you engage and fulfill a future prospect?

The demands on your empathy will rise fast as the evidence you collect about each other starts to accumulate.  You will need to really pay attention and schedule some meditation time for you to secure into a reference for what stream of potential welcomed you into form.  I know some folks love to label this “soul” but be careful about evoking terms with rich “religious” history; not incorrect but polluted with outdated associated information.  We are integrating potential and not supporting any form of bias.

At this point we move from the imagined world of “I know” to probability thinking.  The best logical tool at this time to integrate unfamiliar experience is Bayesian theory.  Bayes’ has us not just collect data and draw conclusions, but to place it into the wider context of everything we know about the situation.  It allows us to widen our field of vision and put issues into an arrangement that can improve our assumptions.  It is about considering every range and range extension possible.  Do you understand what I mean when I suggest you ask questions for better questions; not answers?  Otherwise, your past determines your future.

Everything is evolving into some state of change but we don’t notice.  A fun little book that offers lots of examples is Please Unsubscribe, Thanks! by Julio Vincent Gambuto.  “The top four banks—JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Citigroup—now hold and manage over $9 trillion in assets.  For context, the federal budget for the 2023 fiscal year was $5.8 trillion.”  And it is all fiat money, backed by trust and the market.  But who controls the market—who do we trust?  This is not a secret, a conspiracy or even a bad idea.  You control the market by what you choose to purchase.  If you weigh your purchase against all the elements you need to secure your future vision you are on target.  Trust begins with you attending to all the variables in the situation.

The premise of my work is that we, once all tribal folks, are evolving into a global population.  How do I integrate that prediction into an outcome that I will not live long enough to see?  Not looking for an answer but questions.  I influence the market by my purchases so I need to question all purchases.  Not just to get the best deal or quickest delivery; but what decision that I make can best support future resource’s, jobs to support families, wiser educational criterion for children and adults and an integration in work esthetics that seems to be vanishing.  Perhaps the best question, what do you need to do to be trusted and participate?
